Project Grant Application Forms

Support Bonaire provides several forms and documents for Bonaire based non-profits to review and use as part of the process of submitting project grant proposals, and subsequently documenting them if they have been approved and accepted by Support Bonaire, Inc.

First and foremost, applicants MUST review Support Bonaire, Inc.’s Policy on Grant Making (also referred to as the Rules for Projects). There are three ways to review this document:

2. Download/view as a PDF (requires Adobe Acrobat)
3. Download/view as a Word 95/97 compatible DOC file

Some additional considerations before applying for a grant include:

• At present, we will not consider grants for less than $500, nor for more than $5000.
• Only applicants who are legally registered non-profit organizations on Bonaire can apply for grants, and must be able to provide us with a copy of their articles as filed with the Notary to that effect.
• Governmental organizations, or organizations substantially run by or for the government may not apply grants.
• Individuals may not apply for grants.
• Applications for grants to fund travel expenses, for whatever reason, will not be accepted.
• As Support Bonaire, Inc. is a U.S. organization, all applications must be in English.
• As Support Bonaire, Inc. has very limited funds at present, applicants should only apply for grants for things they need most, as we can presently only consider one application per year per applicant (this may limitation may change at a future time once Support Bonaire is more firmly established).

Once the applicant has reviewed these rules and guidelines, and has subsequently determined that they conform to the basic requirements, and are prepared to fulfill their obligations to Support Bonaire, Inc. - both in terms of filing an application, as well as documenting their project should they be granted funding, then they will want to prepare an application, which can be found at the following locations:
