BONAIRE, N.A. & NORFOLK, VA, USA – March
27, 2002 – Support Bonaire, Inc., a U.S. non-profit
organization created to help support Bonaire’s
non-profit social and environmental efforts announced
today that it has completed a second round of donations
on Bonaire.
The donations involved a range of recipients and
types of items donated. Support Bonaire, Inc. also
credits the Bonaire Rotary Club with being instrumental
in getting donated goods from the U.S. to Bonaire.
The Bonaire Rotary Club donated the funds necessary
to pay all the shipping costs for the most recent
shipment of computers and other goods contributed
by Americans to help support Bonaire. The Bonaire
Customs office was also of great help by waiving
customs duties on the shipment.

- Two computers donated to Sea Turtle Conservation
Bonaire (STCB)
- A computer system with printer donated to Aliansa
– The Bonaire Nature Alliance
- Two desktop computer systems with new monitors
and a new printer, as well as snorkel masks and
fins to the Zuster Maria Hoppner Stichting (Maria
Hoppner Foundation), Bonaire’s fostering
foundation for disadvantaged youth.
- An Internet connection via CurInfo for the
Stichting voor Kunst en Cultuur van Bonaire (the
Bonaire Art & Culture Foundation)
- A computer for the new non-profit community
watch organization, Stichting Algemene Veiligheid
Service en Toezicht

from Americans who wish to help support Bonaire.

of working color computer monitors which work with
PCs and run on 110-127 volts, as well as any financial
contributions people are willing and able to make
